As we deconstruct and discuss our Narrative films, it is also a good idea to start applying your knowledge to other film texts. Take this example of a break down of the 2013 film Prisoners (Villeneuve, 2013). Of particular note in this analysis is the way that Roger Deakins (the DOP) has framed the shots, and added depth to the scenes. The break down also makes references to Mise en Scene, Lighting, and Camera.
